Information We Collect

• Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, and profile settings.
• Uploaded food images, plated-meal photos, and nutrition-label photos.
• Pantry and refrigerator images used for ingredient identification and recipe suggestions.
• Barcode information scanned or entered for product lookup.
• Food and scan history associated with your account.
• User-entered medication reminder information (medication name, schedule, and completion status you choose to log).
• Subscription and billing metadata (plan, status, renewal date) — full card details are handled directly by Stripe and are not stored by us.
• Device and usage information (app version, device type, crash logs, general usage analytics).
• Cookies and similar identifiers described in our Cookie Policy.
• Communications you send us, such as support requests.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to provide and improve the service, generate AI-based food and nutrition analysis, personalize your experience, process subscription billing, send transactional and account-related communications and maintain security.

AI Processing

Photos and text you submit for analysis are processed using automated systems, including third-party AI models, to identify foods and estimate nutrition. See our AI Disclosure page for details on the specific provider currently in use.

Third-Party Service Providers

• Supabase / Lovable Cloud — hosting, authentication, and database storage.
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Google Gemini — AI-based image and nutrition analysis.
• Open Food Facts — public barcode and product database lookups.

Data Retention

We retain account and scan data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. Billing records are retained as required by applicable tax and accounting law even after account deletion.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted transport, database access controls, and role-based administrative permissions. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

No Sale of Personal Information; Not a Healthcare Provider

Lush Trading Post, LLC (d/b/a myAiC) does not sell your personal information. myAiC is not a HIPAA-covered entity and is not a healthcare provider; information you enter is not protected health information under HIPAA.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing.

Account Deletion

You may request account deletion at any time from Settings. We will send a confirmation email, and your account enters a 30-day wind-down period during which deletion can be reversed by contacting support.

At the end of the wind-down period, your uploaded images, scans, and food history are permanently deleted. Billing records are retained only as required by law.

Children's Privacy

myAiC is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact support@myaicapp.com.

State Privacy Rights (e.g., California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia)

Residents of certain states have the right to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising. Lush Trading Post, LLC (d/b/a myAiC) does not sell personal information and does not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise these rights, contact support@myaicapp.com.

International Users

If you access myAiC from outside New Mexico, United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in New Mexico, United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
